Refurbishment of the tired mock Tudor Frontage

The Project

A property in Bromsgrove required a complete refurbishment of the tired, weathered mock Tudor frontage. The homeowner wanted a smarter, more durable finish that would improve insulation, reduce maintenance and restore the classic Tudor look.

Our Solution

Smart Installations Mids Ltd fully removed the existing mock Tudor, which had begun to deteriorate.

  • We installed 25mm Kingspan insulation beneath the new façade, boosting thermal performance and adding warmth to the property.
  • We then fitted aluminium render panels finished in white matte, providing a crisp, clean finish between the Tudor beams.
  • The exterior was then finished off using rosewood composite, mock Tudor board, offering the character of timber without the constant upkeep.
  • To ensure a seamless finish across the entire frontage, we also installed rosewood fascia, soffits and guttering, matching perfectly with the mock tudor boards

The Result

The transformation is outstanding. The property has regained its classic Tudor appearance, but with modern, low-maintenance materials and enhanced insulation.

The rich rosewood finish contrasts beautifully with the matte white boards, creating a fresh, smart and long-lasting exterior. The before-and-after difference is clear, giving the home a renewed kerb appeal and improved energy efficiency.
